New year, new updates.

Jack got his first report card, and it was darn near perfect. He is advanced in writing, reading at a level 2, and overall doing great. He had one of the highest scores in his class, when tested on reading/writing sight words, letter recognition/sounds, etc. Proud Mommy moment :) He is currently obsessed with Star Wars. In fact, on a recent thrift shopping extravaganza with John, he found the series on VHS, and has now seen them and loves them. He also is apparently over cartoons, as his new fave show is Good luck Charlie, and other similar "big kid" Disney shows.
Cash is at such a fun age. Just a few months shy of 3, and he is quite the character. He still loves trains and gets the most excited over a new cardboard box. He likes to sing and make up new funny words. He likes to make giant nests out of every blanket and pillow he can find. He prefers to sleep in a nest of stuffed animals in his bed too. Jack used to be a nest-maker too. I am in love with his hazel eyes, the dimples on the backs of his ears, and his gigantic round head. I love his voice and his mispronunciations. My faves are "Ductor" (Conductor), "Poon" (Spoon), "Tella" (Stella), and "Mutter" (Mother). He has his colors and shapes down, and can count hit or miss a couple numbers, to about 15. He is definitely the bossiest of my bunch.
Stella just had her 4 month appointment. She is a whopping 19.4 lbs and 25.5 inches long. She is definitely my hugest baby so far, and I just can't get enough of her rolls. I'm holding off on starting solids to closer to 6 months, as she is getting more than enough from breastfeeding. She started rolling over around 3.5 months, is happy most of the time, grabbing for toys, found her feet (which she can surprisingly get into her mouth), and likes bathes, her brothers, and her play mat. She is down to just 2 naps a day, in size 6-9 mo clothing, and a size 3 diaper. Go big, or go home.
